GuideNBS partner workshop in Oslo

The first two days of October all the partners in the GuideNBS project met at NINA’s (Norwegian Institute for Nature Research) office in Oslo.

The workshop provided an opportunity to meet and discuss the project approach, as well as getting to know the team members better. We also got a nice guided tour to the allotment garden Sogn Hagelab to look at their blue-green solutions for storm water management.

The GuideNBS project will work on making a practical handbook on implementation of nature-based solutions (NBS) in the Nordics. This is the “sister project” of A-DVICE, which will create a handbook with advice for policy making on NBS. Both projects are building on the knowledge from the other Nordic NBS programme projects.

GuideNBS is led by Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA), Aarhus University in Denmark, Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke), Faroe Islands National Museum, Agricultural University of Iceland, Norwegian Institute for Water Research (NIVA) and Lund University in Sweden.
